The Trust proposes to raise resources and funds both locally and from international funding organizations. The coordination center established in Mumbai, with the guidance of the governing and advisory council, is already engaged in ongoing fund-raising activities with the Government, organizations and with concerned individuals.
It would be significant to mention that the land was donated to
the trust by the Late Mr. S. L. Bajaj. The further capital outlay of Rs.2.75 million, required for the first phase of the project, which commenced in November 1999, was also met through internal resources.
The Trust enjoys tax exemption benefits under section 80G of the income tax.
